Espresso hot & cold brew

  •  Fill the Pod with Stainless steel holder for ground coffee (10~13g).
  • Lightly tamp with a tamperer 4.4 cm, the back of the scoop or spoon until the coffee bed is flat (do not press hard).
  • Add water to the water chamber filling to the desired output. We suggest 40ml is the for espresso but more can be added for a longer coffee.

To use a Nespresso / Nespresso compatible capsule (original), remove the Stainless steel holder and add the capsule holder.

  • As described above you can achieve an espresso by filling 40ml or add more for a longer coffee.
  • Add hot water & press upper button (3 seconds) for a an espresso or hot coffee.
  • Adding hot water will also ensure a faster heat time.
  • If you start with cold water, it will take longer to reach optimal brewing temperature.
  • Add cold water & press lower button for cold brew or to be used in an Iced coffee. Once complete the Demitasse Portable should indicate when coffee dripping finished and it's ready for you to enjoy.
